How to Add Your Shed Designs to The Shed App
Summary
A Building Design (Shed Design), is a shed that you pre build inside of TSA to present to your customers. You are not required to build these out. Customers can place orders for sheds just by using the data that you have already entered into your account (Assuming you have completed these steps: https://theshedapp.atlassian.net/l/cp/RVQcJaBm ).
Building Designs may be helpful for your salespeople and customers to have a better starting point when a shed sale is being made. Building Designs can be setup so that they cannot be edited, but by default they are able to be changed by the salesperson and customer.
The steps in this article must be completed before continuing
Steps:
Add Categories
Navigate to System > Categories > Buildings Design
Here we need to add all of the different categories for your buildings designs.
Click Add Building Design Category
Fill out the required fields
Add Buildings Designs
Navigate to System > Catalogs > Building Designs
Click Add Building Design
Select a Style and a Size and allow the building to load in 3D
Add all options and configure colors to your liking
Click “Next” at the bottom of the designer in this will take you to the “Information” section
In this section select the Category (see screenshot below)
Optionally - You can place additional restrictions on the Building Design and set a different retail price by apply a surcharge.
Once all of this is completed click Add
Repeat these steps for every building design that you would like to add. As you add the building designs they will become available in the order form for customers and salespeople to select.
Note : if you are an Amin you can find additional permission to set for Building Designs in your Settings. You can find these by clicking System > Settings > Building. They will be located in your Building Settings see screenshot
