Summary

Understanding how prices are established in TSA (The Shed App) is the first step in translating your existing prices into TSA or if you are new company establishing a pricing structure for the first time. TSA enforces a specific pricing structure that attempts to balance a variety of factors that can influence pricing including:

• Protecting profit margins.

• Making it easy for the customer to understand.

• Easily updating prices in the future when needed.

The TSA Pricing Structure

Within TSA a building is broken down into different parts:

• Building Style: This is the profile of the building. Think A-frame or Gambrel style buildings.

• Building Model: This is a style with dimensions and specified price. Think 10x16x6 A-Frame with a price of $4,000 (no options explicitly included)

• Building Options: This is anything that can be added to the building and has to have a price (price can be set to $0)

  • Sidings

  • Trims

  • Roofs

  • Doors

  • Windows

  • Porches

  • Dormers

  • Electrical

Once all of the buildings styles, buildings models and options are added into TSA, they can be compiled into buildings. As buildings are designed by adding options, the price of the building is established with the sum of the buildings model and all of the options that have been added.
