Summary of the Inventory Storefront

The Inventory Storefront is a user-friendly web page designed to facilitate shed sales. Key features include:

  1. Accessibility: This basic web page allows Customers to conveniently browse and purchase sheds from anywhere.

  2. Easy Sharing: A unique URL is generated, making it effortless to share the storefront with potential customers through various channels such as text, email, social media, or your website.

  3. Automated Management: Seamlessly integrated with your TSA (The Shed App) account, the storefront updates in real time. New buildings become available as they are produced, and listings are automatically marked as sold when purchased, ensuring accurate inventory management.

How to get the Inventory Storefront link to share with your customers

You can follow the steps below within your Shed App account.

  1. Navigate to Manage Inventory

  2. Click the copy icon that is located next to each store

  3. Open the link in an incognito browser tab

If you have followed these steps, you should be able to look at the inventory storefront for the specified store. If you want to view the inventory storefront for all of your buildings regardless of where they are located, the URL parameter that determines the store location (store_id) can be removed, (order_store_id) cannot be removed.

Below is an example of the demo inventory storefront. Remove the red part of the URL to see all inventory buildings.

How to Manage the Images and Thumbnails on the Inventory Storefront

  1. Navigate to Manage Inventory

  2. Each building listed has a Notes and Attachments icon. Click this icon to open the Notes and Attachments for the building.

  3. For each attachment, there is a drop-down menu where tags can be applied to the attachment. Add the “Marketing” tag to any images you want to be visible from the inventory storefront.

    1. You can also add your own photos here and tag them for Marketing.

When “Marketing” tags are applied, customers can view the attachment on the Inventory Storefront. If no “Featured” tag is applied to any of the attachments for the building, then the most recently tagged “Marketing” attachment will be used as the thumbnail on the Inventory Storefront.

Tag an attachment with the “Featured” tag to set it as the thumbnail representing the building on the Inventory Storefront.

How to Display Sale Pending and Sold Buildings on the Inventory Storefront

URL parameters can be added to the URL to show some Sale Pending and Sold Buildings on the Inventory Storefront.
